IMCA Announces Gloria Grove as Executive Director

IMCA exec directorThe Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) today announced Gloria Grove as its new executive director. As IMCA's executive director, Grove will provide management and leadership services for the 90-year-old association, including board and executive committee development, conference planning, member and committee communication and database management.

IMCA also contracted Grove's firm, The Harrington Company, to manage its day-to-day association operations. As an accredited association management company, Harrington will provide a solid infrastructure to support Grove and IMCA's initiatives, according to IMCA Board President Rob Martin.

"We look forward to Gloria and The Harrington Company working with our board of directors on many new initiatives to improve our operating efficiency and, most importantly, our member value," Martin said. "This is an exciting time for IMCA, following our most successful Annual Conference in years, an association rebranding and launch of a new web site with improved functionality and member tools."

Grove has nearly 15 years of association management experience, including serving as the executive director of the American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators (AIPAGIA) and the Minnesota Chapter, American Marketing Association (MN AMA).
