Gov. Mark Sanford and a group of lawmakers gathered at the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce for the signing, saying that support from lawmakers across the state made the bill possible. According to a Department of Insurance spokesperson, the first applications to apply for grant money will be available August 15.
