The American Insurance Marketing and Sales (AIMS) Society will hold its 25th Annual PRO-to-PRO Executive Retreat February 15-18, 2012 in Tampa. The event, themed "Turning Technology Into Dollars," provides insurance agency owners, sales managers, top producers, account executives, and company leaders an opportunity to discuss ideas they can use to help boost sales success and increase revenue.
The event agenda is designed to offer insights that will help attendees build organization-wide sales cultures, refine and deploy traditional sales and marketing techniques, and successfully implement new marketing and sales tools and techniques.
"Each year, we attract professionals who are passionate about revenue growth and are looking for ways to take their organizations to the next level," says AIMS Society President Curtis Pearsall, CPCU, CPIA, AU, ARM, AIAF, founder and principal of Pearsall Associates, an agency E&O consultancy. "The retreat allows attendees to step back, review and re-energize their organizations' sales and marketing activities."
The PRO-to-PRO retreat provides an intimate setting in which principals, producers and their business partners can share effective marketing and sales practices. Interactive round-table discussions and panel sessions highlight proven solutions to today's agency challenges. A few of the topics on the agenda for this year's event are:
• Turning an agency Internet presence into a money-maker;
• Tools that boost sales and renewals; and
• The use of analytics to increase hit ratios.
During the retreat, the AIMS Society will recognize an insurance carrier partner and an insurance agency producer for outstanding performance and achievement. The event also will feature the annual conferment exercises for insurance professionals who have earned the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) professional designation. According to AIMS Society Executive Director Kitty Ambers, CPIA, CIC, CISR, CPIW, a limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain. "PRO-to-PRO provides a way to engage top-level decision-makers who are committed to supporting the sales and marketing effectiveness of their agency plant," she says. About AIMS Society:
Founded in 1968 as The Firemark Society, the AIMS Society (www.aimssociety.org) is a national, member-driven organization that provides practical training, information and networking services designed to increase the personal and agency sales production of property and casualty insurance agents. AIMS Society was the first organization to honor property and casualty agents for sales excellence and to establish the industry's only sales-based insurance designation: the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA).
