Aartrijk Brand Camp Features Hands-On Team Challenge

Aartrijk Brand Camp 2010, the only branding conference specifically designed for insurance and financial marketing decision-makers, will feature a hands-on, insurance-specific team branding challenge.
The Integrated Marketing Challenge will include teams of 10 to 12 professionals who will work on fictional but realistic marketing cases, such as an insurance carrier that is expanding regionally and the merger of two independent agencies. Given budget and time constraints, the teams will work together on issues such as brand auditing, brand identity development, marketing communications, marketing materials design, social networking and Web positioning, publicity, customer communications and advertising.
Brand Camp will be held October 25-27 in Austin, Texas, at the historic Driskill Hotel.
“Brand Camp attracts doers—high-level insurance and marketing professionals who are energized by diving into a project,” said Maureen Wall Bentley, Aartrijk’s executive vice president, brand strategy. “This Brand Camp event will engage thought leaders from different parts of our industry—agencies, companies, associations, vendors and media—in a meaningful, tangible and lively way.”

Do It Now Sessions.This hands-on session kicks off Brand Camp by giving attendees the chance to experiment or enhance key items for their brand such as blogs and social networking sites.
Value of Brand.This session presents research on how good brands increase insurance agency market valuations.
Image Assessment: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Design professionals lead a discussion about the what, why and how of brand audits.
What’s Next?This panel will demonstrate and discuss new, emerging, and changing tools for insurance branding, such as mobile apps, geolocation, texting, gadgets, and video blogging.
Let’s Get This Straight: Internal Brand Alignment.This session covers the critical need to involve the people in an organization as key factors in delivering brand value to customers and business partners.
