Yamamoto Elected DRC President

Decision Research Corporation (DRC) Board Chairperson and sole shareholder, Walt Simmons, recently announced that effective immediately Karen Yamamoto is elected to the position of DRC’s President.

Simmons said, “Karen has risen through the ranks of the Company after joining DRC nearly thirty years ago directly from receiving her business administration degree in Management Information Systems. She has hands-on experience in virtually all aspects of our Company including product design, programming, project management and budget administration.”

As DRC’s Executive Vice President, Karen has most recently been responsible for managing operations, sales, and marketing. She will now also be assuming direct responsibility of finance and general administrative activities.

“Karen’s new title reflects more accurately the way that DRC is now being managed.  Karen has set up an excellent management team and she has my full confidence as she oversees both the Honolulu and Philadelphia offices with a wide range of enhanced products and client services,” continued Simmons.

The DRC management team, which will report to Karen Yamamoto, consists of Stephen Korow, Vice President of Technology, and Robert Whitton, Vice President of Products and Services.
