XL Catlin today announced its new Aviation insurance capabilities in Brazil with the appointment of senior underwriter, Daniela Murias, based in Sao Paulo.
Ms. Murias has over 15 years' experience in the aviation industry and extensive knowledge of the Brazilian market, having previously held the position of Head of Aviation for a local Brazilian (re)insurer. She has an MBA in Flight Security and is currently undertaking an MBA in Aviation Law and undergoing pilot training towards her private pilot's license.
