The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation Announces Chicago/Midwestern Division Executive Director

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation announced today the addition of Kimberly Bourne Saccaro to the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation leadership team.

Ms. Saccaro will serve as the first Executive Director of the newly announced Chicago/Midwestern Division. In this position Ms. Saccaro will work with the Chicago Board of Directors and the National Foundation to grow and strengthen this important region.

“Ms. Saccaro brings to the Foundation a strong background in development and marketing, having served as a past Executive Director for the Colorado

Chapter of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, as well as a solid understanding of the Chicago community”, said William Ross, Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation. She is directly responsible for all aspects of the Chicago/Midwestern Division, including strategic planning and development. As Executive Director, Ms. Saccaro will establish strong ties with Chicago and Midwestern insurance companies, brokers, reinsurers, community and foundations leaders, individual donors and strategic foundation partners.

Ms. Saccaro holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During her career she has served as an executive director and has extensive work experience as a head of development. She possesses an excellent understanding of marketing, advertising, and nonprofit management.

Ms. Saccaro joins the Foundation effective May 1, 2011 and will quickly begin outreach to the industry and community.
