Registration Open for ASCnet’s TENCon in Orlando

Insurance professionals can now register for the Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) 26th Annual Technology, Education and Networking Conference (TENCon), which will be held September 20-23, 2011 at the Gaylord Palms Hotel & Convention Center in Orlando.

Published on July 22, 2011

TENCon 2011 education sessions will address a range of topics on best practices, employee skills, automation and workflow training, and professional development. Participants from all independent agency and brokerage job functions will be able to learn firsthand how emerging technologies can positively affect sales, service and client retention. The event also will feature an exhibit hall and plenty of networking opportunities.

A newly designed track for principals and producers will focus on how management systems can help drive organizational planning, sales growth, greater profits, accurate measurement and more. In addition, hands-on clinics will address a broad range of topics, including accounting, reporting, and data extraction. In these bring-your-own-laptop clinics, attendees will use their own data, as instructors lead them through workflows for various tasks. Also new this year is practical instruction on cutting-edge, customer-facing technologies, such as how to build agency iPhone apps and how to program iPads for business use.

In addition to the full education agenda, TENCon 2011 will feature an exhibit hall, where members can quickly and easily learn about products and services available from carriers and solution providers to help boost agency and brokerage efficiency and profits. Also, a number of networking opportunities will allow members to interact with and get ideas from fellow members about how to improve their own operations.
