"I've long admired his insights and perspective on the insurance industry and how it operates. He truly has the best interests of independent agents at heart."

He is active with industry groups that support the independent agency system, including the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (Big 'I') and Agents Council for Technology (ACT).
"I appreciate the innovation and leadership that people in the independent agent system bring to our industry," commented Poppa. "I have known and admired Sharon Emek's work an independent agency principal. Leaders like her and companies like WAHVE are going to be a big part of the future success of the agency system."
