Effective immediately, Scott Price has been named Head of U.S. Marine & Energy, reporting directly to James Summers, Head of Global Marine & Energy Specialty. Steve Vivian, also reporting to Mr. Summers, has assumed a new role with responsibility for assisting in the development of the Specialty’s global marine business.
In addition, three marine and energy specialists from Towers Watson have joined the U.S. Marine & Energy team, reporting directly to Mr. Price. They are:
Leo Magrath, Managing Director, with nearly 30 years of marine and offshore energy reinsurance experience. Previously, Mr. Magrath was Executive Vice President at Towers Watson. He is a member of the reinsurance committee of the American Institute of Marine Underwriters and graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business.
Michael Brownsell, Managing Director, with 40 years of industry experience. Mr. Brownsell was formerly Senior Vice President of Towers Watson and also has served as Executive Vice President of Willis Re. He graduated from the University of Durham in the UK with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in economics and economic history.
Nick DiPietra, Vice President, with nearly 10 years of reinsurance experience. Previously, Mr. DiPietra was Vice President of Towers Watson. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in applied economics and business management.
