Guy Carpenter Announces New Executive Appointments

Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, the leading global risk and reinsurance specialist and a member of Marsh & McLennan Companies today announced several changes to its global management structure.

Chris McKeown has been appointed Vice Chairman of Guy Carpenter. In his new role, Mr. McKeown will focus on implementing key strategic initiatives of innovation and capital creation across Guy Carpenter. Previously, Mr. McKeown served as President and CEO of Guy Carpenter’s North America Broking Operations.

In addition, Guy Carpenter’s U.S. regions have been reduced from three territories to two. Peter Chandler has been named the firm’s U.S. Eastern Region Leader, and Pat Denzer has been appointed as the firm’s U.S. Western Region Leader. Mr. Chandler and Mr. Denzer both will report to Alex Moczarski, President and CEO of Guy Carpenter. Terry Russell, formerly the firm’s U.S. Mid-America Region Leader, will focus on developing Guy Carpenter’s global agriculture, surety and medical malpractice business. He will report to Andrew Marcell, Guy Carpenter’s CEO of Global Practices and Head of Placement Strategy.
