Glatfelter Public Practice Adds Two New Key Associates to Team

Glatfelter Public Practice (GPP), a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, is pleased to announce two new hires: Michael McIntire, CIC, CRM, and Cheryl Warner, ARM.

McIntire has joined the company as sales executive for the New England territory. McIntire brings more than 15 years of sales/marketing experience and possesses intimate knowledge of the New England market. Prior to joining GPP, McIntire served as regional sales/marketing manager at a regional New England wholesaler.

According to Mark McCrary, president of Glatfelter Public Practice, “To accommodate our increased growth and expansion goals in New England, it was important to add additional sales/marketing support to the region. We are pleased that Michael has joined GPP, he brings strong industry knowledge and an extensive broker/agency network that will help GPP continue to increase our public entity penetration and provide us with hands-on personal service to the area’s broker/agency community.”

Cheryl Warner has been named territorial sales manager for the western states region. With more than 20 years of sales/marketing experience, Warner will oversee the region’s sales and production responsibilities from the GPP Stockton, Calif. office. Prior to joining GPP, Warner served as a sales executive for a regional brokerage firm in North Carolina.

A graduate of California State University, Warner is looking forward to a return to her California roots. She said, “I was born and raised in California and spent most of my insurance career building relationships and servicing the broker/agent community in the western part of the country. To have the opportunity to join one of the premier program managers in the industry and return to an area that I am so familiar is truly ideal.”
