Connecticut and Maine Big I Associations Offer Staffing Services from WAHVE

WAHVEThe independent agents' associations in Connecticut and Maine now offer their members remote staffing services provided by WAHVE (Work At Home Vintage Employees) on a preferred basis.
 
WAHVE provides experienced insurance professionals to agencies and other insurance firms on a remote outsourced basis for full-time, part-time, or project work. The Connecticut and Maine state associations are offering WAHVE's staffing services to their members with special pricing.
 
"The biggest expense an independent insurance agency has is its staff. Remote staffing provides a new option," explained Bill Hunt, chief sales officer of WAHVE. "Skilled, experienced insurance professionals working remotely offer quality work at a significant cost savings to the independent agency.
 
"Remote staffing is increasingly a choice for independent agency principals. Lisa L. Veregge, CAE, executive vice president of the Maine Insurance Agents Association, pointed out: "Agencies can expand their access to talent by using a remote staffing service. Many states including Maine are large geographically, but the availability of experienced, skilled insurance professionals can be limited. The Independent Insurance Agents of Connecticut, which has represented independent agents for 113 years, represents more than 400 member agencies and their associates as well as their 3500-plus employees. The Maine Insurance Agents Association, founded in 1899, has 300 independent agencies as members. Both state associations are affiliates of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA).
 
WAHVE also offers remote staffing services on a preferred basis for members of Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York and IBA West. WAHVE is a participating employer in AARP's Work Reimagined initiative and is listed as a work-at-home option by Clark Howard.
