CNA’s Thomas F. Motamed to Chair 2nd Annual Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation – Midwest Benefit Dinner

IICFThomas F. Motamed, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CNA Financial Corporation will act as Chairman of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) - Midwest's 2nd Annual Blazing the Trail Benefit Dinner, according to Kathleen Savio, President, Programs & Direct Markets of Zurich North America and IICF Midwest Board Chair.
 
 "We are honored to have Mr. Motamed play such an integral role in this year's event," Savio said, "As an industry leader, his involvement increases awareness and underscores the importance and relevance of our mission."  
 
The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation serves as a united philanthropic voice of the insurance industry, and helps communities and enriches lives by uniting the collective strengths of the industry to provide grants, volunteer service and leadership. Since its inception in May of 2011, the Midwest Division of the IICF has contributed over $300,000 to local Midwest nonprofit organizations.

The event, slated for Thursday, March 14th at Chicago's Palmer House Hilton Hotel, will honor
Wells Fargo Insurance Executive Vice President Scott Isaacson with a special Trailblazer Award for his vast career achievements.
 
Additionally, Andrew Boron, esteemed Director of the Illinois Department of Insurance, will present the IICF's coveted Frontier Awards, which recognize exceptional industry individuals volunteering diligently to make a difference in their communities.
