New Multimedia Manager

William Petrick has joined ACORD as the new Manager of Multimedia Communications. With experience in both media and corporate communications, he will be advancing ACORD's Video on Demand offerings, overseeing its integration into the Web site, as well as spearheading other initiatives, the organization announced today.



Petrick is a seasoned professional in broadcast media. He has been a Senior Producer for Al Roker, Linda Ellerbee, Discovery and Court TV. He has written, produced and directed news and documentary programs on a variety of subjects for Bill Moyers, National Geographic, MTV News, ABC, MSNBC and others.

His significant background in broadcast TV will bring a new dimension to ACORD Video," said Rick Gilman, vice president, ACORD, adding that "his breadth of experience will ensure that all facets of ACORD communications are well integrated and respond to the varying needs of our global membership."



Over the past year, ACORD has launched its Video on Demand both in the US and in London. Their ever-expanding library of topics includes interviews with industry leaders, coverage of events, education, and series such as ACORD Live with President & CEO Gregory A. Maciag and Tech Talk with Lloyd Chumbley, assistant vice president, Standards Technology, ACORD. In addition, the London Market Review has been well received throughout the London Market.
