York Risk Services Group, a premier provider of claims administration and risk management services to select customer segments and more than 200 national programs, today announced it has appointed two executives to direct sales activities for its York Programs division. Raffy Daghlian has been promoted to managing vice president of York Programs. In this new role, Daghlian will focus on building and maintaining relationships with carriers active in or new to the programs market. Rick Ruiz joins York Programs as managing vice president with responsibility for directing and building relationships with managing general agents (MGAs) and program administrators (PAs).

Daghlian joined York’s sales department in 2003; previously, he managed AIG’s commercial/middle market segment in New York and New Jersey. Daghlian earned a B.A. in economics from Drew University. He will be based in Parsippany, N.J.

Ruiz comes to York having spent the previous decade in a variety of executive sales and marketing roles with Zurich, North America’s Programs division. Most recently, he was vice president, sales and distribution, Programs, where he was responsible for identifying and building relationships with organizations that specialize in the administration of program business. Ruiz has also worked for Atlanta-based Insurance Market, Inc. He earned a B.S. degree in business administration from Georgia State University and holds a variety of agents’ licenses. He will be based in Atlanta.
