Trinity Underwriting Managers, Inc. (TUMI), one of the nation's premier special program management firms, welcomes Jean Williams to its team as a senior underwriter.
Williams has 35 years in the insurance industry with a heavy emphasis on underwriting for commercial transportation markets. In her new role at Trinity, Williams will be an underwriter for TUMI's binding transportation programs, focusing on risks for the company's eastern states.
TUMI President, Jason Barlow is pleased to welcome Williams, "I think Jean is a great fit for our agency. She has more than 30 years experience in commercial underwriting and very specific knowledge of the products we sell," he said. "Jean will come out of the gate running and will become a top performer at TUMI."
Prior to joining TUMI, Williams was president of a large, national commercial agency. In that position, she managed the underwriting process for agency captive programs and oversaw the sales and marketing for transportation markets. She is pleased to bring her breadth of experience to TUMI. "I have had various responsibilities and experiences throughout my career, and I am very excited to utilize these in helping our team catapult the agency to the next level."
Williams majored in Insurance and has BA in Business Administration from University of Mississippi.
