O’Neill, based in New York, is responsible for helping further develop Towers Watson's presence in the crucial Florida property & casualty (P&C) market, as well as working with clients on various property catastrophe issues. He is based in New York. Emanuele will be one of the leaders of the company’s client development efforts both in the reinsurance brokerage business and throughout all Towers Watson’s Risk and Financial Services business segment. He is based in Philadelphia.

“Both Brian and Scott are highly regarded within the reinsurance brokerage industry, having helped scores of clients throughout their careers,” said William H. Eyre, Jr., managing director of Towers Watson’s brokerage operations. “Their broad understanding of the ever-changing marketplace, and their relationships with industry players, will effectively represent our clients’ interests — and address their needs — in this fluid market.”

O’Neill comes to Towers Watson following a 15-year career with Guy Carpenter & Co., LLC, most recently as a senior vice president/broker, developing the company’s property catastrophe business in Florida and Texas. In addition, O’Neill has vast experience in such lines of business as political risk, trade credit and surety reinsurance.

Emanuele joins Towers Watson following 11 years at Munich Reinsurance America, where most recently he was a senior vice president, client/broker manager. His responsibilities covered multiple nationwide clients across all lines of business in both the broker and direct market areas. He began his career in 1985 with Mercantile and General Reinsurance before joining Swiss Re and then Partner Re.
