Zurich, a leading property and casualty insurance provider globally and in North America, today announced the appointment of Sabrina Hart as chief operating officer for Global Corporate in North America (GCiNA).
"Sabrina's extensive experience within Zurich makes her the perfect successor for Adrian Sweeney, who is moving to a new role within General Insurance's Zurich North America business as head of Technical Underwriting." said Mike Kerner, CEO of GCiNA.
In her previous role, Hart served as head of Risk Operations within Group Risk Management where she was responsible for driving Zurich's operational risk and control activities.
Prior to that position, Hart served as chief underwriting officer for Zurich North America Commercial's (ZNAC) Specialty Products business. She joined Zurich in 1997 as regional manager of the Healthcare group in the Southeast region for ZNAC.
Hart holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and earned a certificate in Strategic Management from the Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University.
