President Bush: Bail-Out Will Happen

President George W. Bush spoke briefly earlier today, saying that the bail-out of Wall Street will happen. Bush said the basics of the plan are there, but the details have to be worked out.

"There are disagreements over aspects of a rescue plan but there is no disagreement that something substantial must be done," Bush said in brief comments to reporters at the White House. He and his administration is working with Congress to hammer out the details of a rescue plan.

Many Republicans and Democrats are hearing from their constituents complaining that they don't want a bail-out for Wall Street.

Vice President Dick Cheney canceled his plans to Mexico to assist with the pending legislation of the rescue plan.
