He tells attendees at an S&P insurance conference in New York today that HIG is getting "positive trends on rate across most lines," and the company sees a "modest" benefit from a slowly improving economy.
Those factors and others "set up generally pretty well for a positive outlook for 2013" for business insurance, he says.
