GEICO is offering business owners in New York the opportunity to purchase commercial auto insurance directly from the insurer, touting it as a way to save money.
“As the largest insurer of personal autos in New York, GEICO already has a strong presence in the state,” said John Pham, vice president of GEICO’s New York regional operations. “Business owners can now purchase commercial coverage directly through us, which should lead to significantly lower premium rates for many risks. GEICO delights in providing competitive insurance with fantastic service, and our commercial insurance products provide even more opportunities for New York insurance consumers to save money.”
Commercial insurance packages cover the cars, trucks and vans used by small businesses such as contractors, retailers, caterers, professional services and others. In addition to providing protection for a variety of business vehicles, GEICO offers protection for business operations and property through the GEICO Insurance Agency.
“Customers can now contact GEICO for all of their automobile insurance needs, and through the GEICO Insurance Agency we can meet other insurance requests they may have,” said Pionne Corbin, GEICO director of commercial lines. “We are really pleased to continue to offer affordable commercial coverage for businesses in New York. We are very well known for being the low-cost provider on our personal auto insurance coverage, but more and more business owners in New York are discovering our extensive business insurance solutions, as well.”
