CAMICO, The Doctor’s Company, The Hartford and Great American Take Top Honors at 2013 IMCA Showcase Awards

IMCA AwardsThe Doctor's Company received the most Best of Show Awards, Great American Insurance the Most Awards of Excellence and the Hartford the most overall awards at the 55th Annual IMCA Showcase Awards. CAMICO walked away with the overall best of show SAMMY Award.

The awards recognize outstanding marketing and communications work in the insurance industry to promote higher standards of excellence. Entries are drawn from all corners of the insurance sector and across of range of categories, from television advertising to social media to employee communications.

The 2013 Showcase Awards Gala Banquet was hosted at the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) Annual Meeting at the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia, where winners received public recognition for their work and attendees voted on SAMMY winners.

CAMICO won the SAMMY award for the overall best-of-show entry for its CPA Engagement Letter Lead Generation Campaign in the Electronic Communication category.

The Hartford won the most awards overall, with five Awards of Excellence and three Best of Show, several of which recognized their employee communications campaigns. The Doctor's Company received one Award of Excellence and five Best of Show Awards, many for their "Future of Healthcare" survey of physicians. Great American won the most Awards of Excellence, with seven, including two for their social media marketing.

Sun Life Financial, The Co-operators and Allied World Assurance Company each won three Best of Show awards, while Hanover Insurance and MAPFRE Insurance each won two.

Other Best of Show winners included: CAMICO, CNA, Firemans Fund, Foremost Insurance, Jackson National Life Insurance, Liberty Mutual, The Main Street American Group, Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance Company, The Navigators Group, Inc., OIL Insurance Limited, PCI, ProAssurance Group, Westfield Insurance, and Zurich North America.

Several organizations won three Awards of Excellence: Aon Affinity, American Specialty Health, The Main Street America Group, National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and Sun Life Financial.

California Earthquake Authority, CAMICO, The Co-operators, Hanover Insurance Group, Scottsdale Insurance Company and Vertibrands all took home two Awards of Excellence.

Other Awards of Excellence winners were: AAMGA, AmWINS Group, Inc., ARAG, CNA, Foremost Insurance, Iscential, Jackson National Life Insurance, Liberty Mutual, NAS Insurance Services, Inc., OIL Insurance Limited, PCI, Pharmacists Mutual Companies, Shelter Insurance Company, Society Insurance, Westfield Insurance and Zurich North America.
