WAHVEWork At Home Vintage Employees LLC (WAHVE), a company that provides domestic remote staffing services for insurance firms, announced that Frank Sentner joined the company as chief operating officer.
Sentner, a leader in developing technology solutions for the insurance broker community, most recently was director of strategic technology at the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB) and vice president, business development at the Insurance Exchange Trust, an initiative of the CIAB. CIAB is the association for the top national, regional and international commercial brokerage firms and agencies with offices in more than 3,000 locations across 100 countries. CIAB member firms place more than $200 billion in commercial property/casualty and employee benefits premiums worldwide.
Sentner has been developing technology solutions for the agent/broker distribution channel of the insurance industry for more than 30 years.
Sharon Emek, president and CEO of WAHVE, commented: "There is no better or more experienced person in the insurance industry than Frank Sentner at understanding the interactions among people, processes, and technology. Frank will provide the vision and know-how for WAHVE clients to tap retired talent on a remote basis using technology. His experience is deep in the insurance broker sector, but his expertise also can help wholesalers, carriers and vendors."
Sentner began his work in insurance agency technology in 1976 with Insurnet, where he managed development of the first ACORD forms-based agency policy and claims management system. In 1984, Sentner founded Creative Information Systems Co., where he directed development of the first ACORD AL3-based agency management system -- known today as Sagitta and used by the majority of large insurance agencies and brokerage firms. After CISCo merged with the Gemini division of Aetna to form CISGEM and was acquired by AMS Services in 1995, Sentner served as senior vice president of technology for AMS until September 1996. His consulting services firm, Soulware Ltd., focused on improving business process integration between insurers and agents/brokers. He joined CIAB in 1997.
"Technology, at its best, can make a professional workforce more efficient," commented Sentner. "Technology has been and will be a driving force for WAHVE to create value for clients by connecting experienced, remote insurance professionals with insurance firms to improve insurance workflows and create cost efficiencies."
