Boeing Elected ASCnet Chair, Lacroix Vice Chair

Independent agent Maureen Boeing, CIC, CISR, vice president at Cincinnati-based Landmark Insurance Agency, has been elected to serve as 2012 chair of Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet), the user group for Applied Systems agency management technology, at the organization's recent annual meeting in Orlando.
 
Leslie Lacroix, CAIB, CRM, of Southland Insurance Service in Windsor, Ontario, has been elected 2012 vice chair.

The elected leaders will assume their posts January 1.

Boeing manages a staff of 18 at Landmark Insurance, a multiline agency she helped to start in 1998. In addition, she services a large commercial lines book and handles the agency accounting and system administration. She has nearly 20 years of industry experience, all as an Applied Systems agency management software user.
 
She has been involved with ASCnet since 1995, starting the group's Southwest Ohio Chapter that year and serving as chapter president for two years. Boeing has been involved in national service as well, as part of ASCnet's Education Committee, as chair of its Chapters and Communication committees, and for three years on its national Board of Directors. As a certified presenter, she frequently shares her knowledge and expertise at local ASCnet chapter meetings and during TENCon, ASCnet's annual Technology, Education and Networking Conference.

Lacroix is part of the management team at Southland Insurance Service, a multi-site property and casualty brokerage in southwestern Ontario, Canada. Before joining Southland in June 2011, she served as vice president-personal lines at HUB International for four years following HUB International's acquisition of a brokerage in which she was a shareholder and at which she had worked at for 11 years.
 
An ASCnet Certified Presenter since 1997, Lacroix has served locally as president of South-Western Ontario Users Group Applied Systems (1998-2000 and 2009), as a member of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario Technology Committee, and as an advisory board member with several insurance companies. Her "national" ASCnet involvement includes service as Interface Committee member, regional director and, since 2010, board member and liaison to the Education and Interface Committees.
