“House Republicans will not rest until we have repealed Obamacare lock, stock and barrel,” Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.), chairman of the House Republican conference, told Fox News Channel. “We have to tear Obamcare out of the ground, roots and branches.” Pence also told Fox News Channel that Republicans would seek “Democrats who survived” the mid-term elections to help build a group large enough to fight the health reform law.
John Boehner, an Ohio Republican in line to succeed Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) as House speaker, said about healthcare reform, "The American people were concerned about the government takeover of health care,” he told the Associated Press. “I think it’s important for us to lay the groundwork before we begin to repeal this monstrosity.”
