Arkansas residents and business owners also will benefit from the enhanced knowledge and professionalism the education programs deliver. "The more knowledgeable the local insurance agent or service person is, the better equipped he or she will be to educate, inform and serve the insurance buyer," Thompson adds. "People in this state don't just want an insurance agent; they want a friend. When disaster strikes, local insurance agents are there to turn to and help make people whole."
The first CPIA Insurance Success Seminar in Arkansas-Position for Success-is scheduled for October 4, 2011. The class will be held at the PIA of Arkansas headquarters, 10025 W. Markham, Suite 150 in Little Rock. CE credit is pending.

About AIMS Society: Founded in 1968 as The Firemark Society, the AIMS Society (www.aimssociety.org) is a national, member-driven organization that provides training, information and networking services designed to increase the personal and agency sales production of property and casualty insurance agents. AIMS Society was the first organization to honor property and casualty agents for sales excellence and to establish the industry's only sales-based insurance designation-the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA).
