The insurance technology company features live demonstrations at its booth (143) during exhibit hall hours Sunday through next Tuesday (May 22-24). ACORD LOMA hosts this year’s forum at the San Diego Convention Center.

The Applied Systems booth highlights how carriers can use ACORD standards to connect to 11,000 agencies and 140,000 individual users of Applied Systems solutions—TAM®, Epic™, Vision® and DORIS™.

“Combining ACORD standards and Web services is the key to dynamic insurance transactions between carriers and agents,” said Doug Johnston, Applied Systems vice president of partner relations and product innovations. “We’re showing carriers the simplicity of using ACORD standards for selling and servicing insurance with their Applied Systems agencies.”

Johnston is among the Applied Systems representatives participating in the forum, and he serves as a volunteer ACORD host throughout the event.
