Aon Consulting, the global benefits and human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation, on Thursday announced it has earned the opportunity to provide benefits and human capital solutions and services to the U.S. Army.
Through an agreement with ICF Incorporated, LLC, a subsidiary of ICF International (NASDAQ: ICFI), Aon Consulting may compete to provide a full range of support to the Army's Human Resources programs and systems, as part of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.
"Both ICF International and U.S. Army sought out partners with strong records of success in serving Federal agencies," said Cecelia Evans, Federal Practice leader for Aon Consulting. "We look forward to providing the type of benefits and human capital solutions required by a group as important and unique as the U.S. Army."
This overall ICF International-led contract, which began in December 2009, is for five years and has a total program maximum value of $1.27 billion.
