Willis Group Holdings, the global insurance broker, will showcase its expertise and innovation at the annual conference of the Association of Insurance and Risk Managers in Industry and Commerce (Airmic) at the Arena and Convention Centre (ACC) Liverpool, June 11-13. The UK's premier insurance and risk management conference brings together thousands of insurance buyers and insurance experts for educational, networking and business opportunities.
Willis' theme for Airmic 2012 is “ Looking at Risk from a Different Perspective”. The interactive Willis Booth (#99-100) will feature product demos, a live Twitter and blog feed, giveaways and published reports. Visitors to the Willis stand will also be given free tickets for the Echo Wheel of Liverpool and the chance to win a hot air balloon ride.
Scheduled demonstrations at the booth include WillPLACE, Willis' groundbreaking data-driven insurance placement tool. WillPLACE demos will take place at 11.15am and 4pm on Tuesday, June 12 and 11.15am on Wednesday, June 13.
Willis experts and senior leadership will be on hand at the booth to discuss Willis’ approach to large accounts management and to introduce the broker’s educational programme for UK insurance buyers, the Willis Client Academy.
Willis’ thought leaders will also be participating in the official Airmic programme, including Phil Ellis, CEO of Willis’ Global Solutions Consulting Group, who will be presenting a workshop on “Corporate Catastrophes: Moving Risk and Insurance to a Leadership Position with the Board”. This session (B4) will take place on Tuesday, June 12 in room 11a from 2.45pm – 4.00pm.
