Towerstone, Inc., a wholesale insurance broker and managing general agency, today announced the Towerstone National Energy Program, a new insurance program for the energy sector. The program is exclusive to Towerstone through the insurance carrier Hallmark Specialty Insurance Company.
“Towerstone offers superior coverage and peace of mind for energy companies,” said Robin A. Stough president of Towerstone. “Towerstone’s Energy Practice generates $80 million in premium volume, and our specialized energy expertise is a driving force behind Towerstone’s energy facility. It’s an exclusive opportunity to structure superior, customized coverage for energy exposures.”
The Towerstone National Energy Program provides general liability, excess liability, hired and non-owned auto for oil and gas lease operators, non-operators and contractors. The program includes coverage for underground resources and equipment, blanket additional insured/primary and non-contributory, blanket waiver of subrogation, and sudden and accidental, time element pollution, which includes voluntary first party cleanup.
Towerstone’s experienced energy specialists contributed to the writing of coverage forms in order to obtain broader coverage and superior pollution policy wordings compared to most markets outside of the exclusive program offering.
“Strong pollution coverage is key for the energy business, which makes the Towerstone pollution coverage capabilities extremely attractive,” said Stough.
The program offers minimum premiums as low as $2,000. The program is administered in-house at Towerstone, which enables rapid and efficient quoting and policy placement.
Towerstone, a subsidiary of the IMA Financial Group, has offices in Dallas and San Antonio, Texas. The company has extensive experience in a broad spectrum of industries, with expertise in energy and construction.
