Towers Watson Boosts Reinsurance Brokerage Business with New Appointments
Global professional services company Towers Watson has named Darrell Comis, senior vice president, and David J. Albert, vice president, in its Reinsurance Brokerage business, the world's fourth largest.
Comis, based in the company's Stamford offices, will be responsible for the expansion of the facultative market strategies for the company's roster of clients. Albert, who will be located in San Francisco, will assist Towers Watson's Western region clients with their analytical and brokerage needs, as well as develop new business in the area.

Before joining Towers Watson, Comis was an executive vice president at Aon Benfield, where he was responsible for facultative placements for key clients. Prior to Aon Benfield, he held senior management roles at Guy Carpenter, First Capital Group and Minet Insurance Brokers.
Albert comes to Towers Watson from Willis Re Inc., where, as a vice president, he managed a range of clients on property catastrophe and multiple-line reinsurance strategies and placements. Albert has also held senior posts with the former Benfield Inc., Gen3 Partners and Morgan Stanley.
