Vertafore, a provider of market-leading software and services to the insurance industry, today announced the appointment of Jeff Groh as their new senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). “Jeff has an impressive background and experience that parallels many of the key issues and opportunities we anticipate across the Vertafore organization,” said Euan Menzies, president and CEO of Vertafore. “His experience in both designing and executing key strategic initiatives that result in significant growth and successfully integrating acquisitions will be a tremendous asset to the organization.” Jeff most recently served as CFO for Harland Financial Solutions (HFS), a leading provider of application software and services to the banking, credit union and financial services market. Prior to HFS, Jeff held the role of CFO at BISYS Investment Services, a leading outsource provider of mutual fund, retirement, hedge fund and private equity administration. During his time at BISYS Jeff was instrumental in the successful acquisition and integration of multiple companies. Jeff’s early career included long tenures in senior financial roles within blue chip powerhouses, including Price Waterhouse and GE Capital. Vertafore’s former CFO, Joe Schick, has decided to move to a consulting role with CFO Selections, a Bellevue, WA-based consulting and recruiting firm.
