Lexington Insurance Company, a Chartis company, is inviting policyholders, brokers and others to follow the company on Twitter (www.twitter.com/Lex_Ins) for timely information on tropical storm conditions, pre-storm preparation and post-event recovery this hurricane season.
"With experts predicting an above average hurricane season, we are enhancing the services we offer to our policyholders by providing useful information before, during and after a hurricane through Twitter," said Sanjay Godhwani, Executive Vice President and Property Division Executive at Lexington Insurance Company (“Lexington”). Beginning today, Lexington will be tweeting information on hurricane forecasts, oncoming storm preparation and rapid recovery following an event. Lexington will also tweet the status of developing storm activity.
Hurricane preparedness and recovery information is also available at Lexington's Catastrophe Information Center at www.lexingtoninsurance.com.
