Professional Insurance Agents Association of Kentucky (PIA of Kentucky) is the newest sponsor of the American Insurance Marketing & Sales (AIMS) Society’s Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) professional designation program.
Earning the CPIA designation requires completion of a series of Insurance Success Seminars. The three day-long CPIA workshops teach practical before-, during- and after-the-sale techniques for producers, sales managers, account managers, service staff and company marketing representatives.
PIA of Kentucky is one of more than a dozen state and regional organizations that sponsor the three-part professional designation program. The group will host the first CPIA session, Position for Success, on October 19. The second, Implement for Success, takes place on November 10. The final session, Sustain Success, will be held on November 30. Each workshop will be held at the Kentucky Broadcasters Association, 101 Enterprise Drive, Frankfort.
According to Christi LeMay, PIA of Kentucky executive vice president, "Sales and marketing seminars are plentiful, but few are designed specifically with the unique needs of an insurance professional, like the CPIA program. We are excited to offer this comprehensive program in our state and trust it will prove to be an invaluable tool. "

About AIMS Society: Founded in 1968 as The Firemark Society, the AIMS Society (www.aimssociety.org) is a national, member-driven organization that provides training, information and networking services designed to increase the personal and agency sales production of property and casualty insurance agents. AIMS Society was the first organization to honor property and casualty agents for sales excellence and to establish the industry’s only sales-based insurance designation—the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA). Completion of the CPIA designation requirements is not necessary to qualify for membership.
