How do I subscribe?
To subscribe, you need to simply: Click on
Trading Floor Signup, and you will have a secure connection. Follow
the step-by-step instructions provided in sign-up form.You may also contact us and
subscribe over the phone to take advantage of our current promtotions. Just call
800-326-2700.
How do I submit business through programbusiness.com?
Once you are registered subscriber, you’ll have created a user name and password
to log on to our proprietary application(s) for single accounts or books of business.
You then complete an application for your current or potential client on-line. When
you hit the SUBMIT icon, the application is sent to the multiple Storefronts (carriers,
MGAs, MGUs and wholesalers) that offer the coverage you are looking for. Within
minutes, we’ll send you an e-mail letting you know that your submission was processed.
All Storefronts that are interested in the application you have posted will respond.
You can log on and view your submission activity. You may even block any one of
our participating storefronts from viewing your application if you desire. If for
any reason that your posted application does not get a hit or level of interest
within 72-hours, you may call our placers for assistance at 800-326-2700.
What kind of commission does programbusiness pay?
We are a neutral party within the property and casualty supply chain and therefore
do not get involved on the commission structure set forth between our participating
underwriters.
Do I have to pay a registration or service fee to submit business through programbusiness.com?
We charge an annual subscription fee (price is subject to change). This includes
unlimited submissions for both single accounts and books of business. We do not
ask for or want any commissions from the agents and ask our participating underwriters
to pay all of our subscribers 100% of the commissions that are available.
Do you have a market available for my specific client?
You can check our markets (carrier, MGU, MGA & wholesaler) available for your client
by state in FASTMARKETS. Enter your state and you will get a list of all our participating
SIC codes that can be written in that state. Look before you buy! See what SIC coverages
are currently offered by State.
How are claims handled?
The procedure and process of claims are handled by the carrier with which our Storefronts
have placed your client.
Do the carriers offer payment options for my client?
Most underwriters (carriers, MGAs, MGUs and wholesalers) offer premium financing
depending on the size of the account. All payment options need to be worked out
between the subscribing agent and the Storefront owner.
Does our agency name appear on the policy?
Yes, it may. Programbusiness.com does not have a direct appointment with any carrier
so your agency is listed as the producer -- unless the participating Storefront
owners and you work out a different agreement.
Are my submissions public information?
No, all submissions reside on our secure server and are password-protected. All
submissions are viewed by the submitting subscriber and the unblocked Storefronts
(underwriters) only. No other person or entity may see or view your application.
What if I have a direct appointment with one of your Storefront?
In each application you complete for your clients we will ask you if you would like
to block any of our underwriters. You then put a check mark next to the name of
the Storefronts you have a direct appointment with so we do not send the application
to them.
