Specialty Markets is the marketing and underwriting division of Munich Reinsurance America, Inc. (Munich Re) that provides custom risk transfer solutions and niche products for self-insureds, alternative market entities, MGAs, MGUs and Program Administrators.

We prefer $10 million annualized gross written premium for supported casualty and multi-line packages, $5 million for unsupported umbrella business, and $5 million for property lines and professional liability lines.

Speed to market

Once you have given us the necessary submission data to evaluate your program, it can be up and running in as little as 90 days. The quicker your program is qualified, the sooner you can begin implementation and marketing. This is why Specialty Markets makes this commitment to niche underwriters with a minimum of five years of actuarial and underwriting data.
