Accountants Professional Liability Insurance

In 1962, Herbert H. Landy developed the first professional liability insurance program strictly for accounting professional and we have been providing this coverage consistently since then. Offering admitted coverage in all states except LA and AK, our program can accommodate the insurance needs of firms of all sizes, including CPA's, tax preparers, bookkeepers and enrolled agents. We provide a self-rating Express application with the coverage options and premiums on the application for qualifying practices. The Express program offers a two year policy option reinstating policy limits and locking in the premium. Applicants not qualifying for the Express application can apply using our Small Firm or Standard application. Limits are available up to $5,000,000/$5,000,000.

Policy features include a broad definition of professional services such as investment advisor, personal fiduciary and pro bono services. Coverage also includes disciplinary proceedings, security incident reimbursement, subpoena assistance, non-profit directors and officers protection, premium credit for qualifying risk management programs, multiple extended reporting period options including free options for individual qualified retirees or death or disability, and much more. A free and confidential risk management hot-line is available to all insureds.
