A month ago, we announced that Zurich and World Wide Specialty Programs have teamed up to provide insurance services for the staffing industry. We'd like to clarify that Zurich is the carrier, not the underwriter for World Wide Specialty Programs:
Zurich, a leading provider of property and casualty insurance in North America and globally, announced an agreement to become the carrier for World Wide Specialty Programs, the recognized market leader in providing insurance services for the staffing industry for more than 40 years.
"World Wide's experienced management team, its market leading position servicing the staffing industry and its close working relationship as a preferred provider with the American Staffing Association, makes this agreement a strong addition to Zurich's Program business," said Damiano Servidio, head of professional liability for Zurich's Programs & Direct Markets business unit.
“We’re extremely excited about the overwhelming response we have received from thousands of brokers about the switch to Zurich, a carrier known for its commitment to specialty niche programs, making this the best long term solution for the brokers and our customers.” said Dorothy Taylor, president of World Wide Specialty Programs Inc.
This new insurance program features coverages for General Liability, Professional Liability, Property, Auto, Crime, Employment Practices Liability, Umbrella and Workers Compensation. The policy will be tailored to the staffing industry with specific coverages for medical and non-medical placements, professional placements, permanent placement/direct hire services and professional employment organizations.
