Plans for Real Time Day 2013 will include:

- Web broadcasts featuring discussions with Real Time and Download agent users and technology experts.

- Webinars and education events sponsored by agency management systems user groups.

- Presentations by insurance carriers and vendors on using Real Time tools.

- Contests and prizes to recognize success in Real Time and Download usage and participation in Real Time Day.

Real Time Day is designed to convince non-user agencies to try Real Time and Download capabilities, and get user agencies to extend and enhance what they're already doing. Real Time/Download Campaign surveys show that agents who use Real Time and Download save, on average, an hour a day by eliminating multiple data entry, password management and other redundant work. The campaign publishes resources for agencies to get started and to advance with Real Time and Download capabilities, including the "Real Time Makes Real $$$$$" guide, which shows how agencies can sell more by refocusing service staff.
John Heinsz, principal of Heinsz-Schaefer-Garwitz Insurance Services in St. Charles, Mo., explained how the tools help his agency on an ongoing basis: "Real Time has let us more than double our book of business without adding staff. Plus, we give our clients better service without ever leaving our management system. We communicate with our insurance companies with just a click of a button."

The Real Time/Download Campaign is a leading industry coalition for workflow and technology efficiency, now in its sixth year. It is financially supported by a large number of independent agent carriers, as well as vendors, users' groups and industry associations.
