Pennsylvania & Indiana Lumbermens Names Erin Selfe as New VP of ITPennsylvania and Indiana Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Companies (PLM) today announced Erin Selfe has been named vice president of information technology. With more than 20 years of experience, Selfe will be responsible for all aspects of the company's information technology environment, including security, infrastructure, applications development, quality assurance and systems support.

In her new role, Erin will continue PLM's tradition of staying current and competitive with information technology. "PLM has been servicing the lumber industry for more than 122 years," says John Smith, president and CEO of PLM. "Wood hasn't changed, but the new generation of those in the business are young, educated, and expect modern-day technology for convenience in servicing and managing their insurance protection."

Prior to her role at PLM, Selfe served as vice president and chief information officer for American European Insurance Group, Inc. in Cherry Hill, N.J. She built her career at insurance organizations, including as assistant vice president of IT governance at Philadelphia Insurance Companies, as assistant vice president and business information officer for Penn Mutual Life Insurance and as a manager at Andersen Advanced Technology Group.

Selfe is a Chartered Insurance Operations Professional (CIOP), a Fellow, Financial Services Institute (FFSI), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, non-practicing). She graduated suma cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business management, information systems and quantitative analysis from Portland State University.
