Hub International Limited announced that it has acquired the assets of Mahres & Mahres Insurance Agency (Mahres), a Las Cruces, New Mexico–based insurance brokerage firm. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The Mahres operation will become part of the New Mexico division of Hub International Insurance Services Inc.
Founded in 1984, Mahres offers a full range of Personal and Commercial lines products and services. The addition of the Mahres book of business further solidifies Hub’s goal to expand its presence in the Las Cruces area. As a result of the acquisition, the Mahres customers will gain access to the complete suite of insurance products and services available through Hub.
