“Rudy Giuliani is especially appreciated by tens of thousands in the insurance industry in the tri-state area as the man who transformed New York City and who bravely led us through the post-September 11 recovery,” stated David Brinkman, chair of the IICF New York Division board and executive managing director of Aon Benfield. “The insurance industry was also instrumental in the rebuilding of New York City after the attack, and we feel closely aligned.”
At the dinner, the IICF will honor Maurice R. “Hank” Greenberg, chairman and chief executive officer of C. V. Starr & Company, with the 2010 ‘Double I’ award for influence in the industry and impact in the community.
