American Collectors Insurance, a national provider of insurance for collector vehicles and collectibles, combined its online sales and service department with its phone sales and service department.
As part of the new sales team alignment, the company named Laura Packard vice president of sales and marketing.
Additionally, Regina Buckley was named manager of sales and service, and Maura Craven was named to the new position of manager of carrier compliance and broker relations. Both report to Orlando Morales, vice president of underwriting. The American Collectors sales and service team also includes its claims and training professionals.
"Our goal every day is to differentiate American Collectors for our policyholders, agent partners and carrier partners with excellent service performance," explained Jill Bookman, CEO of American Collectors Insurance. "We want to be every collector's first choice for protecting their collectibles and collector vehicles. This new sales alignment aims to further empower all our employees to represent our brand effectively in every interaction with agents and policyholders."
Packard previously was vice president of marketing. Noted Bookman: "Laura Packard has ably led the marketing strategy and tactics for American Collectors during an environment of growth for our company over the past several years. While she continues in that important role, this promotion reflects her growing sales responsibilities in serving agent partners, carrier partners, and consumers."
Packard, a licensed insurance producer, began her American Collectors career in 2001 in underwriting and customer service. She is active with professional groups including automotive industry organization SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) and its ARMO (Automotive Restoration Market Organization) select committee. Packard attended The College of New Jersey.
