The Real Time/Download Campaign launched its latest survey to measure usage of Real Time and download tools by independent agents and brokers in the U.S. The survey is hosted at bit.ly/RT2013 and is estimated to take about seven minutes to complete.
The survey by the insurance industry coalition aims to measure progress in implementation and adoption of agent-insurance carrier workflow technology. The survey also invites independent agents and brokers to provide ideas on potential changes that could drive even greater agency usage of these tools, which are designed to boost efficiency.
"These important surveys already have driven improvements in our industry," commented Real Time/Download Campaign Co-Chair Joyce Sigler, CISR, CPIW, CPIA, vice president of administration at Jones & Wenner, an insurance agency in Fairlawn, Ohio. "The surveys provide invaluable information to the industry, because what is measured can be improved."
Added Co-Chair Stuart Durland, AAI, AINS, partner and vice president of operations at Seely & Durland, an insurance agency in Warwick, N.Y.: "We want as many independent agents and brokers as possible to take to take the survey so we can see where we've made progress and where we must improve. Since the surveys began in 2010, they've also had a positive ripple effect in creating awareness and expanding usage to additional agencies around the country."
The Real Time/Download Campaign (www.GetRealTime.org) conducts surveys in 18-month cycles and has captured the opinions and experiences of thousands of agencies in its two prior surveys. To boost response, campaign supporters have made gift cards available that will be awarded randomly to agency and brokerage employees who complete the survey between now and its end date, scheduled for April 10, 2013.
Real Time is the ability to click on a button from a client file in the agency management system or comparative rater for immediate access to carrier information on that client. The transaction may be a quote, billing inquiry, claim inquiry/loss run, policy view, endorsement or a request for information.
