Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet), the international association for Applied Systems technology users, has revamped its brand identity with a new logo and slogan: “Ask us.”
The revised identity follows the recent introduction of a new chief executive officer, Steve Johnson, and the group’s move to the Chicago area.
“There is a renewed vigor at ASCnet,” said Brian Bartosh, CIC, LUTCF, ASCnet chair and president of Top O' Michigan Insurance, based in Alpena, Mich. “This vitality is demonstrated by the bold changes we are making in leadership, location and operations, and it is underscored by our new identity. Everything about our organization is being kicked up a notch.”
The new ASCnet identity, developed with industry branding firm Aartrijk, speaks to specific attributes of the user group:
In the logo, the connection point between the “c” and “n” (“client” and “network”) illustrates the interconnection between individual and organization.
The “Ask us” tagline speaks to ASCnet’s role as a leading authority on technology and profitability, a trusted resource for its members, business partners and the industry media. The alliteration of “Ask us. ASCnet” also guides correct pronunciation of the organization’s name as “ask-net.”
The cursor shape is reminiscent of the organization’s technology roots.
ASCnet CEO Steve Johnson noted: “The revised brand identity reflects the strengths that are central to ASCnet. The logo and tagline were inspired by the collaboration and communication that take place among members as they work together to reach shared goals of greater efficiency and profitability.”
