AIMS Society Unveils Interactive Member Website & New Logo The American Insurance Marketing and Sales (AIMS) Society has upgraded both its website and logo to better reflect its designation and position as the only exclusive insurance sales and marketing education organization.
 
AIMS offers the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) professional designation, a hands-on, how-to training series which is awarded following completion of three Insurance Success Seminars: Position for Success (CPIA 1); Implement for Success (CPIA 2); and Sustain Success (CPIA 3).
 
"It was time that our website reflect a new kind of energy," explains AIMS President Craig Most, CPIA, CIC, and principal at Most Insurance in Tampa, Florida. "Our focus on practical training and commitment to mentoring called for a website that was not only easier to navigate, but also more responsive. We've definitely accomplished that, but we're continuing to refine and add new features, so I think people will find something new each time they visit the site."
 
"We're especially excited about the new forum feature," adds AIMS Board Member Keith A. Savino, CPIA, managing partner of Warwick Resource Group (WRG) in Warwick, New York. "The goal is to support dialogue between members -- to provide a 'virtual roundtable' where people can discuss the day-to-day challenges they face at their own agency and gain input and advice from other insurance professionals nationwide. There's really nothing better than getting practical advice and sharing real world experience, and that's what the forum will support."
 
In addition to the forum -- which uses #MyNext to highlight what members may see as their next goal, next challenge or next project -- the AIMS website includes member-only resources, such as webinars, publications and supplier discounts, as well as publicly accessible information about upcoming CPIA classes and AIMS events. Of particular note is the 2017 Annual PRO-to-PRO, scheduled February 9-10 at the Bohemian Celebration Hotel, located in Celebration, Florida. This event gives insurance agency owners, sales managers, producers, account executives and company leaders an opportunity to learn and exchange ideas that can help boost sales success and increase revenue. "This is our flagship event," says June W. Taylor, CPIA, CIC, CPIW, DAE, president of Wilkinson Insurance Agency, Inc., in White House, Tennessee. "We welcome anyone to come experience the dynamic exchange of ideas that I believe makes AIMS so unique."
