U.S. Risk Insurance Group, Inc. announced that it has expanded its California operations by acquiring E.M. Morrow Insurance General Agency, Inc., in Oakland, Calif.
U. S. Risk Insurance Group, Inc. is a specialty lines underwriting manager and wholesale broker headquartered in Dallas, Tex. Operating twelve domestic and international branches, it offers a broad range of products and services through its affiliate companies which include storefront owner Lighthouse Companies, U.S. Risk Underwriters, USRisk Brokers, Professional Claims Managers, Omnisure Consulting Group, NCG Professional Risks Ltd., and NovaPro Risk Solutions, LP.
E.M. Morrow has served the California property and casualty market for 30 years, specializing in property and general liability coverages for a variety of risk. The agency's management, including principal David Barkley, will continue to operate the agency. It will become a subsidiary office of U.S. Risk of California, Inc., which does business as USRisk Brokers Insurance Services, Inc., and is headquartered in Irvine, Calif.
