Storefront Owner AVRECO is a member of The Park Group and reports that The Park Group has hired Wenda Montgomery to the position of Senior Vice-President with Park Re Canada, located in Toronto. Ms. Montgomery will focus on the production, placement, and servicing of treaty and facultative reinsurance clients, having worked many years in the Canadian, Caribbean, and International reinsurance markets. Prior to joining Park Re Canada, Ms. Montgomery held senior positions with Sutton Reinsurance, Towers Perrin Re, Sedgwick Re, and Marsh & McLennan/Guy Carpenter. Ms. Montgomery has a thorough understanding of all aspects of the reinsurance industry through her extensive background in accident & health, property & casualty, and professional liability reinsurance. She has had hands-on experience in reinsurance claims, accounting, and system development throughout her career. Ms. Montgomery is President of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society–Canadian Chapter and teaches Reinsurance Fundamentals for the Insurance Institute of Ontario.
