The redesigned ACORD website which will allow for easier downloads of ACORD Forms and Standards by its members has been launched. Information about the organization's initiatives to develop Standards for all lines of business has been updated as well as new pages dedicated to industry events and news.

Members of ACORD will benefit by the new user-friendly navigation that provides streamlined access to fully-updated content. Access to ACORD Forms, Standards downloads and the Benchmark Calculator has been made easier by a single sign-in process. This process will recognize the visitor's password and will open areas of the site that pertain to that specific member without requiring them to sign in again.

Non-members will also be able to take advantage of the new website. ACORD case studies, regularly updated information on ACORD Standards and global initiatives as well as information about ACORD events (Annual Conference, Standards Subcommittee Week, working group meetings, etc) and staff is open to the public.

A new feature called the News Center keeps visitors up to date on the latest happenings at ACORD. A section within the News Center called the ACORD Presentation Center allows visitors to view audio and visual PowerPoint* presentations that discuss who ACORD is and what we do, the benefits of standards and provide a closer look at programs like AUGIE (ACORD User Groups Information Exchange).

Another new feature is ACORD TV. Open to the public, ACORD TV provides a menu of streaming videos featuring ACORD staff and members on various issues relating to standards and technology in the industry today. Visit ACORD TV to view videos on "Global Insurance Standards" and "XML for Real Time Processing."

ACORD's dedication to being a source for news about standards and technology in the insurance, reinsurance and related financial services industries is realized with new additions like the ACORD Publications and Brochures page. Access to the "@ACORD" e-newsletter and Annual Membership Report is now available in a paper-free format for your viewing.

Web-based meetings have become very much a part of ACORD's effort to keep an active dialogue with its members. The new website has a direct link to the ACORD Online Meeting Center that will allow members to participate in working group and other types of meetings they cannot personally attend.

Due to increased security measures implemented in the framework of the new website, members will need to re-register for a new username and password. This quick and easy re-registration process can be done via the homepage of the website.
